Teija's homepage

I'm Teija Martikka from Kirkkonummi, Finland. I was born in Vehkalahti,between the towns of Kotka and Hamina and lived there with my parents and younger brother till 1988. I studied in LUT (Lappeenranta University of Technology) and received my degree of M.Sc.(Tech.) on the Department of Information Technology in 1995.

From Lappeenranta I moved to Espoo with Hannu in 1994 when Hannu got a job in Helsinki metropolitan area. At the same time I was preparing my Master's Thesis about the GUI of the data management system of the research vessel Muikku, which was a really interesting project.

We moved to Kirkkonummi in 2008. Kirkkonummi is an idyllic municipality on the south coast of Finland, 30 km west of Helsinki.
Currently I work for NSN.
